Newtown Police reported that Jennifer Harris of Sandy Hook, 43, drove a 2010 Ford F150 and stopped at Bryan Johnston on October 29. Next to the owned 2009 Hyundai Elantra. Harris' car was driving out of the parking space and making a sharp turn, hitting the front left bumper of Johnston's car.

On November 7, Newtown police reported that two unidentified vehicles collided with a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, which was operated by Newtown's 23-year-old Gracee Piazza. According to reports, Piazza was driving west on Riverside Road, with two cars driving behind her. Mawicke was punished for being too close to the car and Pritchard was punished for driving an unregistered motor vehicle.

Newtown police reported that 29-year-old Bethel Isabel Levy drove the 2017 GMC Acadia SLE and drove east on Birch Hill Road on November 10. Levy's vehicle drove from the right side of the road, hit a mailbox, and then hit a Frontier telephone pole.

Levy said she was distracted by a deer that entered the road and caused her to turn. The vehicle was towed away from the scene. There were no reports of injuries.
